BLACKSTONE- Kenneth W. Robinson, 92, of Blackstone, MA died Thursday, January 31, 2013 at his home. He was the husband of the late Mary (Lesperance) Robinson.
He was born in Blackstone, MA, son of the late Roland and Anna (Bradley) Robinson.
Mr. Robinson was a World War II Seabees Veteran and served in the Pacific Theater on the island of Peleliu. He was owner and operator of Robinson's Equipment Corporation and he was a member of the Historical Truck Society.
He is survived by one son: Kenneth Robinson of Woonsocket, RI; one daughter: Patricia Drooff and her husband Peter of Hingham, MA; two grandchildren: Caley and Collin Drooff; and three siblings: John Robinson of Blackstone, MA, Mary Patrick of Bellingham, MA and Frank Robinson of Florida.
Mr. Robinson's funeral will be held Monday, February 4, 2013 at 8:30 am from the James E. Kellett and Son Funeral Home, 38 Main St., Blackstone, MA, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Pauls Church, St. Paul's St., Blackstone, MA. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Gaskill St., Blackstone, MA Calling hour is Monday morning from 8:30-9:30 am. www.kellettandson.com
