HARRISVILLE- Ronald R. Lizotte 49 of Harrisville died Thursday, February 7th after a short battle with illness.
Born in Woonsocket he is the son of Charles Lizotte, Sr. of Blackstone, MA and Anne (Perron) Richer of Woonsocket, RI. He has resided in Harrisville for the last 25 years.
Prior to his illness Ronald worked as a self-employed painter.
Ronald was a loving son, brother, father and friend. He was an avid golfer, talented musician, hunter and outdoorsman.
Beside his parents, he is survived by two sons, Andrew Lizotte and Eric Lizotte both of Harrisville; and four brothers, Charles P. Lizotte, Jr. of Woonsocket, David A. Lizotte of North Smithfield, Kevin Lizotte of Cumberland and Kenneth Lizotte of Blackstone, MA.
Ron is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, 1409 Park Avenue, Woonsocket at 11:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers gifts in Ronald's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
