WOONSOCKET- Theodore E. "Fred" Salvas Jr. passed away February 10, 2013 at Home & Hospice Care of RI in Providence surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Woonsocket RI, a son of the late Theodore Sr. & Anne (Smith) Salvas.
Fred worked for the Cumberland Auto Salvage in ME, as an auto dismantler. He lived most of his life in Woonsocket. He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed watching the Three Stooges.
He is survived by his children Timothy, Theodore III, Craig, Jayce, Felicia, Christian, Celine, Joyce, Isabella, Sherrie, and Ann and five grandchildren, and his brothers and sisters, Daniel, Andre "Corky", Paul, Alyne, Judy, Sharon, and Lisa.
Calling hours will be held Saturday at the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., No. Smithfield from 1pm until 4pm. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Home & Hospice of RI 1085 North Main St. Providence RI 02904.
