John A. Cloutier

WOONSOCKET- John A. Cloutier, 67, of Woonsocket, died Friday, February 15, 2013 in the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the husband of Helene C. (Barrette) Cloutier, to whom he was married for 46 years.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Theodose A. and Mary F. (Cohan) Cloutier.
John was a 1963 graduate of Mount St. Charles Academy. He served six years in the Army National Guard. John was a grocery manager at Almacs for 34 years and later was a custodian for 10 years for the Woonsocket School Department. He was a member of Holy Family Church. John enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, traveling and reading.
Besides his wife Helene, he leaves his son, John A. Cloutier and his wife Victoria of Sterling, VA; his daughter, Lise M. Gleason and her husband Timothy of Burrillville; two brothers, Michael Cloutier of Woonsocket and Paul Cloutier of Florida; and four grandchildren, Zachary and Joshua Gleason, Elisabeth and Maya Cloutier.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 9 AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Holy Family Church, 414 So. Main St. Burial will be private. Calling hours are Monday from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Church, 414 So. Main St., Woonsocket, RI 02895.
