BLACKSTONE- Pauline F. (Renaud) Bertrand, 85, of Blackstone, MA passed away on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Rhode Island Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Romeo and Lillian (Bilodeau) Renaud.
She was the beloved wife of the late Steven Oberzol and the late Neil Bertrand.
She is survived by her grandson, Allan Rodrigues and his wife, Maureen of Woonsocket, RI, two great-granddaughters, Vanessa Rodrigues of North East, PA, Krysta Rodrigues of Woonsocket, RI, and her great-great-grandson, Jayce Kenney. She was predeceased by her daughter, Sandra Oberzol-Masse of Blackstone, MA. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bertrand worked as a bookkeeper for her late husband Neil for the NBC Company of Blackstone, MA, and worked at McCarthy's Department Store and Grace Holmes of Cumberland, RI. She enjoyed shopping and playing cards. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 19th at 9:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Theresa Church, 630 Rathbun St., Blackstone, MA. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours are on Monday, February 18th from 5 to 7PM at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
