BUCKSPORT- Francine Marie (Paulhus) Berthiaume, 67, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, after a long illness. She was born Aug. 27, 1945, in Providence, R.I., daughter of the late Francis Joseph Paulhus and Lottie Lucinda (Martin) Paulhus.
She was educated in Rhode Island schools and had lived in Bucksport with her husband, Norman Berthiaume, for the last 20 years.
Francine is survived by her three beautiful daughters, Jenifer M. (Berthiaume) Desquenne, Katherine A. (Berthiaume) Bonollo and Nora J. (Berthiaume) Proulx, all of Bucksport; two sisters, Nancy A. (Paulhus) Langlois of Bangor and Linda L. (Paulhus) Meeks of Brewer; and one brother, Martin B. Paulhus and his lovely wife, Dianne, of Mac Rae, Ark. Other survivors include her precious grandchildren, Benjamin R. Desquenne and Madison L. Oliver, children of Jenifer Desquenne, and Kallie M. and Jacob S. Bonollo, children of Katherine Bonollo, all of Bucksport.
A memorial service will be held later in the spring. Arrangements are under the direction of Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 28 Elm St., Bucksport.
