WOONSOCKET- Joseph A. Baillargeon 81, resident of Woonsocket passed away February 16, 2013 at the Oakland Grove Health Center.
He was the husband of the late Carmen (Desautels) Baillargeon.
He was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Oliver & Theresa (Cabana) Baillargeon.
Joseph worked for Martin Marietta Co. in CA. as a supervisor for many years. He was a resident of California formerly of Woonsocket where he was raised. He enjoyed sketching and painting.
He is survived by his sisters and brothers, Arthur Baillargeon of North Smithfield, Jeanne St. Pere of Woonsocket, Elaine DePiero of Woonsocket, and Raymond Baillargeon of Utah, grandson Adrien Baillargeon & his mother Patricia Barbrie of Woonsocket, great grandchildren, Michael & Calib Baillargeon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son Alan Baillargeon.
A Mass of Christian will be held Friday at 10am in Holy Family Church in Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Arrangements are entrusted to the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home 75 Harris Ave. Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
