BURRILLVILLE- Marie E. Walker, 89, resident of Pascoag, RI peacefully passed away after a short illness on March 2, 2013, at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket.
She was the loving wife of the late Roger P. Walker.
Born in Glendale, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Donalda (Giguere) Rouleau. She was a bus monitor for the former Nelson's Bus Company, Burrillville and previously worked in area textiles for many years. She was deeply involved in her faith and a communicant of St. Joseph's Church, in Pascoag and thoroughly enjoyed her trips to Foxwoods.
Marie was the loving mother of Linda J. and her husband Paul R. Cosetta of Pascoag and her beloved granddaughter Bethany L. Cosetta. Survivors also include brothers Armand and Richard Rouleau, sister, Claire Carrier-Lapierre; many nieces and nephews along with many great nieces and nephews and by her granddaughters cats, Cinnamon and Fritzen. She was preceded in death by her siblings Gerard Rouleau, Simone Tanguay, Roland Rouleau, Jeannette Guilbault and Theresa Walker.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, at 9:30 AM, from the Brown Funeral Home, 1496 Victory Highway, Oakland, RI, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 in St. Joseph's Church in Pascoag. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Pascoag. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9.
