SCITUATE- LaPrade, Robert E., 51, of Dexter Lane, Scituate, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at home.
He was a son of Alfred and Annette Y. (Caouette) LaPrade of Harrisville.
Born in Providence, he had lived in Smithfield, Glocester, and Burrillville before moving to Scituate. He was self-employed and had worked doing home renovations and repairs for 35 years. He served in the Army and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Besides his parents he is survived by his siblings: Norma Murray of Chepachet, Susan Antonelli and her husband, Michael of Chepachet, and Alfred LaPrade, Jr. and his wife, Denise LaPrade of North Scituate, five nieces, two nephews and eight great nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, March 16, at 10am in St. Patrick's Church, 1854 Main Street, Harrisville. Burial will be private. For messages of condolence, visit
