NORTH SMITHFIELD- Fleurant Stephen N., 36 of North Smithfield passed away surrounded by his family Wednesday, March 6th at the Philip Hulitar Center, Providence after a long illness.
Born in Woonsocket he was the son of Denis and Linda (Brissette) Fleurant of Smithfield. Stephen loved the outdoors, especially fishing, he also enjoyed being with all his friends. He worked in the tree cutting business before acquiring his CDL license.
Besides his parents he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Nelson and Florence (Gladu) Brissette and paternal grandparents Francis Fleurant and Marie C. (Leclaire) Fleurant. He leaves numerous aunts and uncles as well as many cousins.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours Sunday from 1 to 4 pm in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rte. 122, Cumberland followed by a prayer service. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904. Directions/Guestbook:
