UXBRIDGE, MA- Michael Skory, 90, of Uxbridge died Thurs. March 7, 2013 at home with his family by his side. He was the husband of the late Lillian M. (Boivin) Skory who died in 2008.
Mr. Skory had been a toolmaker for the former Sweet Manufacturing in Attleboro for 25 years before retiring in 1988. He had previously been employed for Armburst Chain Co. and National Chain in RI
Mr. Skory was born Jan. 17, 1923 in Blackstone, son of the late Martyn and Anastasia (Zariny) Skory and had been a resident of Uxbridge since 1947.
He is survived by two daughters, Susan T. Skory of Oxford and Deborah R. and her husband Goeffrey Wing of Uxbridge; 2 grandsons, Kevin Wing and Stephen Wing, and a great-grandson Issac James Casey. He was predeceased by a son Michael A. Skory; a brother John Skory and a sister Stella Dauphin.
Funeral services will be held Mon. March 11, 2013 at 11 AM in the Buma funeral Home, 101 N. Main St., (Rte. 122), Uxbridge. Burial will follow in the Ukrainian American Cemetery, Central St., Bellingham.
Visiting hours will be Sunday March 10, 2013 from 3 5 PM in the funeral home.
