NORTH SMITHFIELD- Robert L. Lemoine, 83, of School St., and formerly of Cumberland and Venice, FL died February 28, 2013 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of T. Pauline (Dulac) Lemoine whom he married July 7, 1951.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Albert and Aurore (Dussault) Lemoine.
An Army Veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Lemoine worked as a welder/fabricator at Industrial Machine and Tool in Centerdale RI. Prior to retirement he managed the stockroom for J.H Lynch, Cumberland and earlier in his career he worked for McCarthy's. He was an outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Cumberland Beagle Club.
Besides his wife Pauline, he is survived by a son; Robert Lemoine and his wife Kristi of Chepachet, a daughter; Gale Roy and her husband Fred of No. Smithfield, two granddaughters; Torie and Madison Lemoine and a sister; Angela Russo of Seekonk, MA. He was the brother of the late Raymond Lemoine and Alice Stifter.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 11AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church St., No. Smithfield with Military Honors to follow. Burial will be private.
