WOONSOCKET- Jeanne M. (Goulet) Desaulniers, 88, of Maple St., died March 13, 2013 at Landmark Medical Center after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Robert A. Desaulniers who passed away in 2000.
A lifelong Woonsocket resident, she was the daughter of the late Nelson and Lilianne (Jolicoeur) Goulet and the step-daughter of the late Lydia (Gendron) Goulet.
Mrs. Desaulniers is survived by three sons, The Rev. Richard P. Desaulniers, Pastor of St. James Church, Manville, Daniel R. Desaulniers and his wife Maryann of Shorewood, WI, and John R. Desaulniers with who she lived; two daughters, Janice L. Grondines of Woonsocket and Renee C. Desaulniers of Cranston; four grandchildren, Keith & Andrea Grondines, Major Linn Desaulniers and Elise Hatchker; and also six great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 18, 2013 at 10 AM in Precious Blood Church, Carrington Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manville. Calling hours will be Sunday 2 - 4 and 7-9PM in The Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. James Endowment Fund, P O Box 60, Manville, RI 02838.
