NORTH SMITHFIELD- Claire T. (Parenteau) Bousquet, 85, of North Smithfield, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013 in the St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of the late Leo P. Bousquet.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late John B. and Sarah (Cardin) Parenteau.
Mrs. Bousquet was an assembler at A.T. Cross and a stitcher for several area mills. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church and a member of its Prayer Group.
She leaves her daughter, Linda Bergeron and her husband Raymond of North Smithfield; her son, Alan O. Bousquet and his wife Kathleen of Woonsocket; her brother, J. Camille Parenteau of Bellingham; her sister, Aline Cargill of Apache Junction, AZ; four grandchildren, Shawn, Eric and Mark Bergeron and Jodie Caron; and six great grandchildren, Emma, Nicholas, Ryan, Ellen, Owen and Sarah. She was predeceased by her son, Dennis L. Bousquet and her brother, John Parenteau.
Her funeral will be held Monday, March 18, 2013 at 12:30 PM in the Chapel at St. Antoine Residence, 10 Rhodes Ave. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, MA. Calling hours are Sunday from 4-7 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Antoine Residence, 10 Rhodes Ave., No. Smithfield, RI 02896.
