BURRILLVILLE- Henryka (Gawron) Kukowski, 59, of Harrisville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 12th at the Home & Hospice Care Ctr. Of Rhode Island in Providence.
Born Jan. 14, 1954 in Jaksice, Poland she was the daughter of Zofia (Wieczorek) Gawron of Poland and the late Czeslaw Gawron.
Henryka was a Registered Nurse at St. Vincents Hospital in Worcester for 10 years. She was a graduate from Rhode Island College with a Bachelor Science Degree in Nursing and also a graduate from Worcester State College earning her Masters Degree.
Besides her mother she leaves a daughter, Anna Kukowski of Miami, FL., she was the mother of the late David Kukowski. Most of all, she cherished her 3 cats and her many friends. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.
Her Funeral will be Thursday, March 21st, at 9:30 A.M. from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 35 Harris Ave. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Harris Ave. Woonsocket. Relatives & Friends are invited. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation hours will be Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. before the Funeral Mass. Donations in her memory can be made to the Providence Animal Rescue League, 34 Elbow St. Providence, RI, 02904 or to the Home & Hospice Care Ctr. Of R.I., 1085 No. Main St. Providence, R.I. 02904.
