CUMBERLAND- Elsie (Waterman) Schofield, 88, of Bear Hill Road died Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Grandview Center, Cumberland. She was the wife of the late Richard Schofield.
A lifelong resident of Cumberland, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Mildred (Jenckes) Waterman.
Mrs. Schofield was a registered nurse at the former Woonsocket Hospital, now Landmark Medical Center, for 22 years before retiring.
She is survived by two sons, William A. and Brian L. Schofield, both of Dallas, TX; two grandsons, Justin George and Griffin Schofield; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Elaine George and the sister of the late Richard Waterman.
Her funeral service will be held SATURDAY, MARCH 23 at 10 A.M. in Four Corners Community Chapel, 200 Angell Road, Cumberland. Burial will be in Arnold Mills Cemetery, Cumberland.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at BELLOWS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln FRIDAY 5-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Schofield's memory to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904-9826 would be appreciated.
