CUMBERLAND- Doris M. Bellonzi, 90 of Rolling Acres Drive, passed away Friday, March 22 at home. She was the wife of the late Leo A. Bellonzi.
Born in Attleboro, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Margaret (Flynn) Kiff. She resided in Cumberland for most of her life, previously residing in Attleboro.
She loved to sew, do craftwork and go to the ocean. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Doris was a vibrant, youthful 90-year old, spirited and independent, and very courageous through her long illness.
She leaves her son, James Bellonzi and his wife Carla of Orlando, FL, her daughters Pamela MacKenzie and her husband Bill of Wareham, MA and Patricia Bellonzi of Cumberland; her sister, Eileen Victurine of Taunton, and three grandchildren Mark Lavelle and his wife Bobbie of Cumberland, Nicole Bellonzi and Christopher Bellonzi, both of Orlando, FL, two great-grandchildren McKenzie and Connor Lavelle, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Harold Kiff Jr., and Bernice Holt.
A celebration of her life will be held with Visiting Hours Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A service of remembrance will be held at 6:30 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
