Friday Night Bingo returns to Pascoag K of C

March 30, 2013

BURRILLVILLE –– After a lapse of nearly two decades, Pascoag Council 383 Knights of Columbus proudly announces the return of its once-popular Friday Night Bingo, scheduled to resume April 5 at the Columbus Club function hall located at 98 Roosevelt Ave. Fully approved and licensed, the games will begin promptly at 6:20 p.m.; doors will open at 4:30 p.m. and the kitchen at 5:00 p.m.
The bingo program will include a full complement of regular games and several higher-paying special games including a split-the-pot and weekly prize build-up game with a maximum of $1.000.
An assortment of door prizes will be awarded each week. Not intended to compete with Twin River, Newport Grand, or the Connecticut casinos, the Knights intend these games to be as much a social night out in a good old-fashioned way - as they were when last played almost 20 years ago - as a fund raiser and opportunity to win big.
Serving the local community since the early 1900’s, the Knights of Columbus have been a mainstay in local charitable works over the past years. All proceeds from the bingo will be used to bolster the organization’s continuing efforts to support various youth and charitable causes within the local community.
A full menu of freshly made food items, including sandwiches, burgers, French fries and more will be available, as well as an assortment of packaged snacks and drinks. In addition, a weekly chef’s special will be featured. All items will be reasonably priced.
Following the games, the club’s lounge will be open, offering full bar service and complimentary snacks, for those who wish to relax and socialize.
Regardless of the winnings, these games should provide a much needed opportunity for what the K of C calls “Friday-Knight” fun. For more information, please call 401-568-1865.
