WOONSOCKET- Jean M. (White) Gagnon, 69, of Roberts St. died, Friday, March 29, 2013, in Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Gerard R. Gagnon Sr.
Born in Whitinsville, MA., daughter of the late Everett and Mary Ellen (Fisher) Gagnon.
She worked as a Certified Nurse's Aide for the Blackstone Nursing Home, and also for various Nursing Homes in the area.
Jean also worked for the voting polls for 5 years.
She was an avid Keno and Bingo player, as well as a yard sale enthusiast.
She is survived by her six children, Charlene Egan, James Lambert Sr. and his wife Dalia, and Robert Gagnon and significant other Claire Menard, and Geraldine Gagnon, Christiana Fernandes and her significant other Talubeh Njie all of Woonsocket and Kimberly Gagnon of Manville. Five Stepchildren Ida Gagnon, Sharon Bielat, Gerard R. Gagnon Jr., Cathy Gagnon all of Woonsocket, and Gail Cournoyer, of Florida. One brother Everett White Jr. of Worcester, MA. Two sisters, Janet Rabitor and Sylvia Lally both of Uxbridge.18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She also was the sister of the late Roberta Boisvert.
Her funeral and burial were private; The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, was in charge of the arrangements.
