WOONSOCKET- Diane J. (Chamberlain) Peterson 59, of Willow St. died Monday at home.
She was born in North Attleboro, MA a daughter of Rita (Girard) Chamberlain of Woonsocket and the late Arthur Chamberlain.
Diane was a stock person for Market Basket for four years before retiring in 2009. She had previously worked as a Certified Dental assistant for twenty five years in Waltham, MA, and was a graduate of South Eastern Technical Institute. She loved to read, and sew, and spend time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Besides her mother, Diane is survived by her daughter Faith Marie Peterson of Madison, ME, two sisters; her twin Denise Vose of Blackstone, MA and Helene Wood of South Easton, MA, and two brothers; Lionel Chamberlain of Middleboro, MA, and Roland Chamberlain of Glendale, AZ.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 AM, from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Theresa's Church, Rathbun St., Blackstone, MA. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sunday 2-4 PM. Please visit:
