JOHNSTON- Violet A. (Caron) Boucher 97, formerly of Waterview Apts, Woonsocket, died Saturday in Briarcliff Manor, Johnston. S
he was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Philias and Fabiola (Drapeau) Caron. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother and enjoyed sewing, cooking, and dancing.
She is survived by a daughter; Muriel Alden of Riverside, five grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by two brothers; Roger and Robert Caron, both of Woonsocket, and two sisters; Georgette Vermette of Cape Cod, and Pauline Vermette of Woonsocket. She was also the sister of the late Normand Caron, Mariette Caron and Rita Polek.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10:00AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun ST. Woonsocket. The family will receive guests in the rear of the church beginning at 9:30AM. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: The Tomorrow Fund, Hasbro Children's Hospital, 593 Eddy St, Providence, RI, 02903.
