CUMBERLAND- Lillian B. Champagne, 79, of Spring Street, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Roland J. Champagne.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Elzear and Julie (Mercier) Lambert. She resided in Cumberland for the past 51 years.
She leaves her son, Ronald Champagne and his wife Sally of Cumberland, her sisters, Rosanna Whitesell of Manville, and Terry O'Rourke of Woonsocket. She was the sister of the late Eugene, Henry, Leo and Norman Lambert, Jean Robideau, Alice Bealieu, and Rita Lecourt.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday at 10 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joan of Arc Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting Hours will be held Friday morning from 8:00 to 9:30 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to The Holiday Retirement Home, Resident Activities 30 Sayles Hill Road, Manville, RI 02838.
