High school volleyball tournament set for Saturday at Bryant U.

SMITHFIELD – A high school volleyball tournament that will include representatives from Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New Jersey will take place this Saturday at Bryant University, starting at 9 am.
Representing Rhode Island will be Barrington, Bishop Hendricken, Central, Coventry, East Providence, North Kingstown, Pilgrim, Tolman and West Warwick.
The teams from Massachusetts will include Brockton, Cambridge Rindge & Latin, Central Catholic, Chicopee Comp, Greater New Bedford Voc. Tech., Haverhill, Lincoln-Sudbury, Ludlow, Milford, New Bedford, Newton North and Newton South.
The three teams from New Jersey - St. Joseph, Livingston and St. Peter's Prep - are currently ranked fourth, sixth and 12th respectively in the Garden State.
Admission to this sixth annual event is free, but fans are encouraged to bring a foldable chair as seating will be limited.
