CUMBERLAND- Sylvia (Bouchard) Bacchiocchi, 101, of Mendon Road died Thursday, April 18, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Dario A. Bacchiocchi (B.A. Dario).
Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Isidore Joseph and Emma (Brodeur) Bouchard, she had lived in Lincoln and Cumberland for many years.
She is survived by her son, Ronald Dario Bacchiocchi of Portsmouth; her grandson, C. Clifton Earle IV of Cape Cod; her granddaughter, Alixandra Dario Gifford and her husband, Tucker and her great granddaughter, Marley Dario Gifford, all of Newport. She also leaves a nephew, George Crepeau of Lillian, AL; and two nieces, Connie Lindstedt of Avon, CT and Jeannine Bacchiocchi Hien of Lincoln; and several great nieces and great nephews. She was the mother of the late Jean Sylvia Bacchiocchi and the sister of the late Henry Bouchard, Loretta Bouchard Gravel, Leona Bouchard Crepeau and Celia Bouchard Lussier.
Relatives and friends may call at BELLOWS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, THURSDAY, APRIL 25 from 8-9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in St. Joan of Arc Church, 3357 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Entombment will be in the Garden Mausoleum in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
