HOPEDALE- Suzie M. (Carpentier) Goulet, 57, of Hopedale, died Wednesday, April 17, at home. She was the longtime companion of Kent Clemons.
Suzie was born in Quebec, a daughter of the late Fernando and Jeannette (St. Louis) Carpentier.
She was an assembler for Honeywell in Woonsocket for many years before retiring in 2008 due to illness.
Besides her companion, she is survived by two daughters; Nicole Goulet of Lincoln, and Danielle Goulet of Woonsocket, and one step-son Kent Clemons Jr. and fourteen siblings; Jean-Claude Carpentier, Renald Carpentier, Rene Carpentier, Alain Carpentier, Yves Carpentier, Real Carpentier, Mariette Dufresne, Lise Carpentier, Celine Carpentier, Cecile Carpentier, Lorraine Brissette, Fernande Mercure, and Joelle Werner. She was also the sister of the late Marcel Carpentier.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10:00AM in Holy Family Church, South Main St, Woonsocket. The family will receive guests in the rear of the church beginning at 9:30. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Division of Development, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
