NORTH SMITHFIELD – The North Stars Basketball Camp will take place July 15-19 at North Smithfield High School. The camp is open to boys and girls between ages 8-18 and runs each day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
For those that register by June 22, the cost is $250. Late registration, which runs until July 15, costs $275.
The North Stars Basketball Camp's focus will be fundamental basketball instruction, with the important emphasis on fun. Every camper will be shown what to practice and more importantly how to practice. Instruction and competition will be led by 5 former URI men’s basketball players from the nationally-ranked 2007-2008 team. All five players are presently playing overseas.
