CUMBERLAND- Frances A. Hennigan, 74, of Cumberland, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013. She was the wife of James G. Hennigan. They were happily married for forty eight years.
Born in Westerly, RI, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Margaret (Murphy) Spry.
Mrs. Henningan had lived in Jamestown before moving to Cumberland forty three years ago. She was a member of the Cumberland Seniors and volunteered with the Cumberland Figure Skating Program. She enjoyed painting and knitting.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two children, James Hennigan Jr. and Mary Skalko and her husband Michael, a sister, Katherine Zweir and three grandchildren, Ian Skalko, Seamus Hennigan, and Jason Skalko. She was the sister of the late Mildred Spry and Eleanor Dahl.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in Saint Mark's Church, 60 Narragansett Avenue, Jamestown. Burial will be in Saint Mark's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2-5pm in the O'NEILL Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland.
