WOONSOCKET- Cecile Rivard 89, formerly of 547 Clinton St. died Monday at Oakland Grove Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Marcel Rivard.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Eva (Girard) Duhaime. Mrs. Rivard was a molder for the Tupperware Co. for over twenty five years before retiring. She was a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary.
Cecile is survived by her son, Dennis C. Rivard and his wife Donna of Woonsocket, and daughter, Lorraine C. Cadieux and her husband Joseph of Burrillville, a sister, Constance Dubeau of Bellingham, two grandchildren, one step-grandchild, five great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Roland Duhaime and Theresa Leduc.
Her funeral with visitation will be held Thursday from 8:30 - 9:30 AM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St Charles Cemetery in Blackstone. Please visit
