NO. SMITHFIELD- Jacqueline D. (Ruhland) Gervais, 87, of No. Smithfield, died May 9, 2013 in Overlook Nursing & Rehab Center, Burrillville. She was the loving wife of Raymond A. Gervais for 62 years.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Irene (Cote) Ruhland.
Jacqueline was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and vacationing at the beach.
Besides her husband Ray, she is survived by their son, Luc Gervais and his wife Sally of Uxbridge, MA; and her granddaughter Emily. She was the sister to the late Eugene "Gene" Ruhland and Marguerite Decelles.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 10 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church St., Slatersville. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farm St., Blackstone, MA. Calling hours are omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church, P.O. Box 266., Slatersville, RI 02876.
