Gerald A. Sikie

CUMBERLAND- Gerald A. Sikie, 63, of Cumberland and formerly of North Smithfield, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013. He was the husband of Maureen (Whitehouse) Sikie. They were happily married for 18 years.
Born in Patton, PA, he was the son of the late Andrew and Arlie (Bradley) Sikie.
Mr. Sikie was a coordinator for Seven Hills of Massachusetts, formerly ARC of Northern Rhode Island. What he loved most about his job, was the time spent dedicated to helping the people he served. He was a volunteer in Cumberland Baseball, coaching in T-Ball and Little League.
Besides his wife, he is survived by four children, Megan, John, Jerry, and Tara Sikie. He also leaves three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Thomas Sikie.
A Service will be held Thursday at 10am in Calvin Presbyterian Church, 126 Angell Road, Cumberland. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4-8pm in the O'NEILL Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland.
