WOONSOCKET- Rachel E. (Carr) Belanger, 92, of Woonsocket, formerly of Bellingham, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013 in South County Hospital, Wakefield. She was the wife of the late Normand E. Belanger, the late Michael Martinelli and the late Henry W. Lind.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Frank E. and Ruth (Jenks) Carr.
Mrs. Belanger was a forms collator for 13 years at Amica Insurance, retiring in 1982. She was a former member of the Amvets Post #7, Woonsocket and a past Noble Grand of Loyal Lodge Order of Rebeccas.
She leaves her son, Robert C. Lind of Newport; three grandsons, Eric, Jason and Jonathan Lind; and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Winfield and William Carr and four sisters, Alice Cook, Reniff Scott, Delphine Wood and Louise Allen.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, May 18, 2013 beginning with visitation at 11 AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket, with a service to follow at Noon. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery.
