BLACKSTONE- Dolores B. (Robidoux) Giordano, 76, of Blackstone passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2013 with her loving family by her side.
Born in Bellingham on April 27, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Paul Robidoux and Bertha (Godin) Robidoux Dumont and her late step-father, Arthur Dumont.
She was the loving mother of Jeffrey Giordano and his husband, Greg Serpa of Los Angles, CA, Laurie Giordano and her companion, Louis Ferrucci of Blackstone, MA, Shelley DePalo and her husband, Patrick DePalo, Jr. of Blackstone and Gary Giordano and his wife, Lisa of Sharon, MA. She leaves her cherished grandchildren, Nicholas Wolschon, Alexandria DePalo, Zachary Giordano and Logan Giordano-Serpa. She was the sister of Muriel Lavallee and her late husband, Robert of Serra Fina, NM, and the late Paul Robidoux and his late wife Vesta, the late Leo Robidoux and his late wife, Aldora, the late Roland Robidoux and his wife Terry of Fullerton, CA. She also leaves her longtime best friend, Annie Flynn and many nieces and nephews.
Dolores was a long time resident of Blackstone, MA and was the Town Accountant for the Town of Blackstone, MA for many years and the Town of Walpole, MA retiring in 2000. She enjoyed flower gardening, crossword puzzles, traveling was an avid reader and lover of history. Her greatest passion was her four children, she was devoted to her family and will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 22nd with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00AM at St. Blaise Church, 1158 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA. Interment will follow at Precious Blood Cemetery, Woonsocket, RI. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. There are no visiting hours.
