WOONSOCKET- Mary Kamer, 81, of Dulude Ave, died Monday May 20, 2013 at home with her family by her side.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Shookry and Eva (Doura) Kamer.
Mary worked as a stitcher for 35 years at Finkelsteins, prior to retiring.
Mary was a very caring and giving individual, everyone could always count on Mary to be there when needed. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time at the Ocean.
She was past president of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union.
She is survived by her two brothers, Phillip and Thomas Kamer both of Woonsocket. One sister Anna Kamer, of Woonsocket, with whom she lived, and several nieces and nephews.
She also was the sister of the late Leon G. Kamer.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 10 A.M. from the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket, Burial will be in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, MA. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are Saturday morning from 9-10A.M.
