Betty Jo Tessier

WOONSOCKET- Tessier, Betty Jo, 86, of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully Friday May 24th at Oakland Grove Health Center. She was the wife of the late Frederick E. Tessier.
Born in Charlotte, NC, a daughter of the late Frontis and Margaret Hartis.
She had also lived in Las Vegas for 14 years. She was a volunteer at the Woonsocket Hospital and the Woonsocket Child Find Program. A member of the Red Hatters Society, a communicant of the former St. Louis Church and a member of the choir. Betty Jo was the most gentle person you should know. She was considered a Saint by her children. Her favorite saying was, Do something everyday to make yourself happy.
She is survived by her children; Frederick, Barbara Cote, Mark, Patricia Callas of Las Vegas, NV, Joan Paquin of Corona, CA and Susan Tessier of Woonsocket. Grandmother of Jacob and Nicholas Cote, Steven and Rachel Paquin and Scott Callas. She was the mother of the late George and Theresa (Tina) Tessier.
A memorial service will be Wednesday at 6PM in the Chapel Hall at Mt. St. Charles Academy, 800 Logee St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the George Tessier Scholarship Fund at Mt. St. Charles.
