NORTH SMITHFIELD- Mary Kelly C. Pacheco, 93, resident of North Smithfield, died May 26, 2013, at the Landmark Medical Center, in Woonsocket, RI.
She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Pacheco.
She was born in Ely, Nevada, a daughter of the late William & Madeline (Leahy) Kelly.
Kelly worked for the former Woonsocket Hospital as a registered nurse. After retiring from the hospital, she worked for Hospice St. Antoine and Heritage Nursing Home. She was a WWII army veteran. For many years, she was treasurer for the Holy Ghost Society and was also a member of St. John's Church senior citizens.
She is survived by her son, Robert T. Pacheco of North Smithfield, a daughter, Peg Pacheco of Greenville and brothers, John & James Kelly.
She was preceded in death by a son James W. Pacheco, sisters, Jean Finley and Leah Madrazo, and a brother, William Kelly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 11am in St. John's Church, Slatersville, RI. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of ones choice. Calling hours are omitted.
