NORTH SMITHFIELD- Ronald A. Sharples, 70, resident of North Smithfield passed away June 3, 2013.
He was the loving husband, to the late Carol A. (Levy) Sharples.
He was born in Central Falls RI, a son of the late William & Eva (Flaxington) Blais.
Ronald owned and operated Sharples Plumbing & Heating in North Smithfield for 40 years, retiring in Jan. 2011. He was a US Army veteran, an active member in the Manville Rod & Gun Club and Wallum Lake Rod and Gun Club.
He is survived by, daughters; Lorri Langford and her husband Michael of Oakland, and Randie Moran and her husband Dan of FL, son, Rodney Sharples of GA, stepdaughter, Holly Lima of North Smithfield, and four grandchildren. He is also survived by brother, William Sharples of FL, sister, Nancy Catterall of PA, and his extended family Dennis & Edna Piette of North Smithfield.
His funeral will be held Friday at 8:30am from the Keene-Brown Funeral Home 445 Greenville Rd., with a Funeral Service of Devine Liturgy at 10am in St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, in Woonsocket. Burial with military honors will be in St. Stephen's Ukrainian Cemetery in Manville. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4pm until 8pm.
