CUMBERLAND - Judith G. Janelle, 68, of Cumberland, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2013. She was the beloved wife of Normand Janelle for 47 years.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Andre and Therese (Perrier) Laperle. Judy had a long love of teaching children which included running Kids Country Daycare out of her home for 17 years. She enjoyed sewing, playing pool, going to the beach, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Besides her husband she is survived by three children, Steven Janelle and his wife Donna, Christine Newton and her husband Craig, and Jennifer Janelle, three grandchildren, Patrick and Victoria Newton, and Gyanna Janelle, and a brother, Paul Laperle and his wife Connie.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9am from the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint John Vianney Church, 3609 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 4-8pm in the funeral home.
