NORTH SMITHFIELD- Libro "Lee" Vario, 91, resident of North Smithfield, passed away June 11, 2013.
He was the husband of the late Rosilda "Rose" (Marchand) Vario.
He was born in Woonsocket RI, a son of the late Joseph & Viola (Taglianetti) Vario.
Lee was co-owner of Vario Brothers Home Builders. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather; he enjoyed salt water fishing, gardening, and was an avid trumpet player. He was a member of the St. Anthony's Church Holy Ghost Society.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda Barrette, son, Kenneth Vario and his wife Linda, grandchildren, Jennifer Maiello, Melissa Olivier, Chelsea, Caitlyn, and Joseph Vario and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Anita Finelli.
Besides his wife Lee was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Vario, brothers, John & Albert Vario, and a sister, Marie Tomassini.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9am from the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home 75 Harris Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial 10am in St. Anthony's Church, in Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery in Blackstone. Calling hours will be held Friday from 5pm until 8pm.
