MANVILLE- Anna (Dypry) Recorvits, 99, a resident of the Holiday Retirement Home passed away peacefully on Wednesday at the home with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of the late Michael Recorvits.
Born Dec. 17, 1913 in Valley Falls, RI, she was the daughter of the late Paul & Josephine (Lass) Dypry.
Anna was employed at various Textile Companies and was also a clerk at various Retail Stores in the area. Her favorite pastime was playing Bingo, she was a avid reader and was a wonderful polish cook. She was a communicant of St. James Church in Manville, a member of Golden Agers of Manville and Albion, and a member of the Tenants Association of Riverside Manner.
She is survived by a son: Michael J. & his wife Helen Recorvits of Glocester, RI, 2 Daughters Helen A, & her husband Raymond Dubois of Woonsocket, & Anne L. & her husband Kenneth Lawrence of Kansas City, MO. 7 Grandchildren, Dr. David Dubois, Dr. Diane Dubois-Hall. Janice Sherman, Kathleen Butler, Bruce Lawrence, Michael R. & Mark J. Recorvits. also 8 Great Grandchildren & 1 Great Great Granddaughter. She was the sister of the late Stanley Dypry & Sophie Podorozny.
Her Funeral will be Saturday at 9:00 A.M. from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 35 Harris Ave. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in St. James Church, Division St. Manville. Burial will be in St. Stephens Cemetery. Relatives & Friends are invited. Visitation hours are Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. The Recorvits family would like to thank the staff & nurses at the Holiday Home for their loving care that was dedicated to their mother.
