BURRILLVILLE- Genevieve V. (Swiech) Bonczek, 94, died Friday June 21, 2013 at Overlook Nursing Home, Pascoag. Wife of the late Sigmund M. Bonczek.
Born in Woonsocket she was the daughter of the late Walter and Veronica (Bienia) Swiech.
Genevieve is survived by a son Edward F. Bonczek of Pascoag, two sisters, Bertha Wasilewski of Woonsocket, Clara Kowal of No. Smithfield, two grandchildren, Cheryl Uttley and Edward J. Bonczek, seven great grandchildren, Sarah Bonczek-Simpson, Mark, Steven and Katherine Rondina, Robert, Michael and Timothy Bonczek, and one great great granddaughter, Genevieve Morgan Simpson. She was predeceased by a brother Edward Swiech and a sister Helen Piotrowski. She will be dearly missed by her family.
Her funeral will be held at Monday June 24, 2013 at 9:30AM from the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave. Pascoag, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30AM in St. Joseph's Church, 183 Sayles Ave. Pascoag. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Emerson Rd, Harrisville. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 2 to 4PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the; Overlook Nursing Home, Patient Fund, 14 Rock Ave. Pascoag, RI 02859.
