WOONSOCKET- Florette A. (Lavallee) Peloquin Pare 93, formerly of Chimney Hill Apartments in Cumberland, died Saturday June 22, 2013 at Oakland Grove Health Care Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Arthur O Pare Jr. and Gerald E. Peloquin.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Palmyre (Lamoureux) Lavallee.
Florette worked in several area textile mills, she also worked as a sales clerk for the former McCarthy's Department Store for several years. Florette was a member of the Cercle Marie Louise, and the Fireside Club.
She was a devoted mother to her two daughters Muriel Lariviere of Bellingham, and Noella Pepin of The Villages, FL, and loving memere to her five grandchildren, Renee Butler, Laurie Huff, Christopher, Jonathan and Thomas Pepin, and eleven great-grandchildren, John, Matthew, Dylan, Luke, Alyssa, Maryanne, Kaitlyn, Jennifer, Madeleine, Lucas, and Nathaniel. She is survived by her sisters Yvette Lanagan of VA, and Claire Pierini of Pawtucket. She was also the sister of the late Gaston, Hector, and Albert Lavallee, Janet Montanari and Aline Trudel.
Her funeral with visitation will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main Street, Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. In lieu of flowers donations to, Feed My Sheep Kitchen, 323 Rathbun St. Woonsocket, RI 02895 or The Activities Department at Oakland Grove, 560 Cumberland Hill Rd.
