BLACKSTONE, MA- Helen (Farnesi) Charlette, 88, of Blackstone, MA passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the Lydia Taft House in Uxbridge, MA. She was the beloved wife for 68 years of David P. Charlette.
Born in Providence, RI on May 22, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Madeline (DiGuiseppi) Farnesi.
She was the loving mother of Ronald D. Charlette and his wife, Madeleine, and Sandra M. Charlette all of Blackstone, MA. She leaves her cherished grandchildren, John Charlette and his wife, Elane and Michelle Intinarelli, and her great-grandchildren, Danielle and Adam Intinarelli. She was the sister of Armando "Casey" Farnesi and his wife, Evelyn, and Beatrice Santoro all of Johnston, RI and the late Enrico Farnesi, Mary DiFazio, Margaret Corsetti, Laura Palazzo, Ida Ferriera and Lucy Corcelli.
A longtime resident of Blackstone, she was a communicant of St. Paul's Church and St. Theresa Church both of Blackstone. Mrs. Charlette had worked at Tupperware. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed quilting, embroidery, and oil painting. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Saturday, June 29th at 9:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So,. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM at St. Theresa Church, 630 Rathbun St., Blackstone, MA. Interment will follow at St. Paul's Cemetery, Blackstone. Visiting time from 9 to 10AM at the funeral home prior to Mass. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. To sign guest book visit
