WOONSOCKET- Doris H. (St. Germain) Berard, 77, formerly of Thomas St., died Friday June 28, in Oakland Grove Health and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Blackstone, MA, a daughter of the late Albert and Eva (Soucy) St.Germain.
She worked in geriatric transport for the Lakeview Nursing Home for many years, retiring in 1996.
She was a very caring and loving mother, and is survived by three children; George LeVasseur of Uxbridge, Christopher LeVasseur of Warwick, and Linda Guilbert of Woonsocket, five grandchildren, one brother; Roland St. Germain of MD, and two sisters; Lucille Strocky of Woonsocket, and Pauline Therrien of Glendale. She was also the sister of the late Joseph and Maurice St. Germain, Alice Henry, and Rita St. Gelais.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10:00AM in St. Anthony's Church, Greene St. Woonsocket. The family will receive guests in the rear of the church beginning at 9:30.
