WOONSOCKET- Pauline C. (Belisle) Phillips, 92, of Woonsocket passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at the Ballou Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Russell T. Phillips, Sr.
Born in Woonsocket, RI on May 21, 1921, she was the daughter of the late George and Emelda (Deziel) Belisle.
She was the loving mother of Russell T. Phillips, Jr. and his wife, Dee of Ft. Myers, FL, Scott A. Phillips of Woonsocket, RI, Cheryl L. Trottier and her husband, Ronald of North Smithfield, RI, Kimberly A. Dalti of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and the late Randall P. Phillips and his wife, Terry of Bellingham, MA. She leaves her cherished 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Doris Geremia.
Mrs. Phillips was a longtime resident of Woonsocket and was an officer of the Mercymount Country Day School Mothers Guild Cumberland, RI. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church Woonsocket. She was a resident of Bellingham from 1960-1970, and a member of the St. Blaise Church Women's Guild. She was creative in design and sewing. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and she will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Friday, July 12th at 8:30AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St.(Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM at St. Joseph's Church, 1200 Mendon Road, Woonsocket. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham.
Visiting time will be from 8:30 to 10:00AM at the funeral home prior to mass.
