NORTH SMITHFIELD- Betty M. Flynn, "Mama", passed away on July 10, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late George F. Flynn for 62 years. They shared their life together in North Smithfield.
Born to the late Thomas F. and Evelyn (Doherty) Mack in Harrisville, RI, she had two brothers and three sisters.
She leaves one surviving brother Jim Mack and his wife Linda of North Carolina. Betty also leaves her daughter, Sandra Skender of Reno, NV and Sharon Mazzarella, her caregiver for 13 years, of Woonsocket. She was a loving grandmother of seven and great grandmother of ten. Betty was an "Auntie" to many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be private, as she requested, and under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket.
