WOONSOCKET- Armand A. Beauchemin, 83, of Second Ave. died Wednesday in Trinity Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of Therese (Fontaine) Beauchemin for sixty years.
Mr. Beauchemin was born in Woonsocket, and was a lifelong city resident.
He worked as a technician for Owens-Corning Fiberglass for many years before retiring in1995. He was hard working and was a dedicated and devoted family man.
Besides his wife he is survived by seven children; Dennis Beauchemin of NY,NY, David Beauchemin of Gloucester, Ronald Beauchemin of Marlboro, William Beauchemin of Barnstable, Diane Chand of Quebec, Denise Shaller, of NY, and Sandra Beauchemin of Woonsocket, and was also the father of the late Richard Beauchemin. In addition, he is survived by eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, four brothers; Lucien of Redondo Beach, CA, Alfred of Holland, Aldor of Cumberland, and Andre of Attleboro, and two sisters; Alice Boucher of Anaheim, CA, and Anne Shirley of Woonsocket. He was also the brother of the late Herve, Emile, and Blanche Beauchemin.
Visiting hours will be held Sunday 3-5 PM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, RI. Burial is private. Please visit www.fournierandfournier.com for guestbook and directions.
