DAYTON- Marjorie Gloria Mullett, age 68, passed away unexpectedly on July 11, 2013 in Gorham.
She was born in Glocester, RI on Sept. 23, 1944, a daughter of the late Charles and Bessie (Phetteplace) Migneault.
After graduating from high school, she was a caregiver and provided a home for several foster children.
For many years she assisted with the Bingo held at the Saco Armory. She was a past member of the Dayton Lions Club, a member of the Biddeford 50+ Club. She was also active with Town of Dayton voting and balloting. Marjorie will always be remembered as a woman who was willing to help those in need. She enjoyed traveling, helping other people and was proud to be a house wife- caring for her family and children and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was an avid Nascar fan with her favorite driver being Carl Edwards.
She and her husband enjoyed going to Louden Raceway in New Hampshire.
She is predeceased by her sister- Audrey Bruns; and brother- Kenneth Migneault.
Marjorie is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years- Raymond J. Mullett; sons- David Gareau Jr. of ME, Kenneth Gareau of CT, and Robert Gareau of RI; daughters- Nancy Van Tassell of Lyman, and Donna Cote of Dayton
Step sons- Steven R. Mullett of Augusta, and Brian S. Mullett of VA; - 2 brothers Howie Migneault of RI and Danny Migneault of CT; sisters- Shirley Thibodeau of FL and Sharon Russell of RI; thirteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and many dear friends.
Friends and family may call from 11 to 12 noon on Monday July 15, 2013 at the Dennett, Craig & Pate funeral Home 365 Main St, Saco. A 12 noon service will be held at the funeral home with burial at Goodwins Mills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Marjorie's memory to the Goodwins Mills Fire and Rescue, 481 Goodwins Mills Road, Lyman, Maine 04002.
