WOONSOCKET - Marjorie M. (Harford) Robbins, 82, of Friendly Home Rhodes Ave. and previously of Marlboro, MA, died July 11, 2013 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late James W. Robbins. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Harold R. and Ruth (Sheffield) McKenna.
Mrs. Robbins worked twenty-five years as a stitcher for the former Narragansett Knitting, Woonsocket. She was a former member of the Woonsocket Elks Club. She enjoyed camping at the Ginny B. Campground in Foster, RI. She also enjoyed traveling, reading, playing online computer games, watching movies and spending time with her family. She will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her son James M. Robbins and his wife Patricia E. of Marlboro, MA. She also had a daughter, Melanie Robbins Pryor, of Marlboro, MA. She had four grandchildren, Carrie Willette and her husband Paul, Erin Drainville and her husband Brian, Dr. Kevin J. Robbins and his wife ZhongJuan and Audreanna Torres. She adored her five great grandchildren, Annabella, Nicholas, Tyler, Damian & Kairi. She was the sister of the late Charles and Harold "Mickey" Harford.

Her memorial service will be held Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 11AM in the Christ Community Church, 31 Church St., Blackstone, MA. Burial will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, RI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the activities fund at The Friendly Home, 303 Rhodes Ave., Woonsocket, RI 02895.
