WOONSOCKET- Marion E. (Nichols) Belleville, 90, of Woonsocket, died Sunday, July 14, 2013, at the Holiday Retirement Home in Lincoln. She was the wife of the late Ralph N. Belleville, to whom she was married for over sixty years.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Lillian (Lever) Nichols.
Marion graduated from the Pawtucket Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed as a registered nurse at Woonsocket Hospital for many years. Later in her career, she returned to school to become a certified registered nurse anesthetist. (CRNA) She then worked in the operating rooms at Woonsocket Hospital and at Milford Regional Medical Center. Prior to her retirement, she was the charge nurse at Saint Antoine Residence in North Smithfield.
She leaves her son, Ralph A. Belleville and his wife Laura of Lincoln; her daughter, Susan Lefrancois and her husband J. David of Cumberland. She also leaves her grandson, John Lefrancois, Jr., and many nephews and nieces. Her three brothers, Raymond, Emile and Howard Nichols predeceased her.
Her funeral beginning with visitation will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2013, at 9:00 AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 190 North Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farm St., Blackstone, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to one of Marion's favorite charities, St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
