NO. SMITHFIELD - Doris J. (Bissonnette) Beaudoin, 63, of No. Smithfield, died Sunday, July 21, 2013, in her home. She was the wife of the late John J. Beaudoin, whom she married December 28, 1968. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Adelard Bissonnette, Sr. and Doris (Forget) Bissonnette of No. Smithfield.
Doris was an assembler for AT Cross for 12 years, retiring in the late 80's. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, trips to the beach, crossword puzzles and BINGO.
Besides her mother, she leaves her daughter, Tina L. Poxon and her husband Dennis of No. Smithfield; her granddaughter, Jamie L. Poxon of No. Smithfield; three brothers, Adelard Bissonnette, Jr. and his wife Joan of No. Smithfield, Roger Bissonnette and his wife Debra of Blackstone and Robert Bissonnette and his wife Frances of Woonsocket; two sisters, Pauline Bissonnette of No. Smithfield and Helen Martin of Cumberland; and many nephews and nieces.
Her funeral will be held Friday, July 26, 2013 with visitation at 9 AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket, followed by a service at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Church St., Slatersville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 No. Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
